Say it with Flowers

You can’t beat a good floral print. They come out for weddings, they come out for the races and they are the go-to print of the season; having said that you’ve got to be careful as I think It's all too easy to pull out the same predictable prints year after year; So you’ve got to shake it up. This season the flowers are big, bold and bright.

I can't stress how important I think it is to follow fashion when it comes to this trend because if you overdo it, you could end up looking like a clown or like you are wearing a pair of bad 1970’s curtains. Underplay it and you look like washed-out bloom.

Today I’m loving my floral skirt from Ted Baker, it’s the perfect example of this season’s new floral interpretation. It’s abstract, expressive, and vivid with the over-sized floral print. I’ve teamed it with a silk blouse from Reiss and a pair of Prada Black leather Peep Toe Platform Pumps.

The trick to remember here is not to wear it all at once otherwise you’ll just look messy.

Lets remind ourselves of some of the runway spring summer 2015 floral looks.

My Tips on How To Wear and Rock the Floral Trend – Dresses, Pants, Shorts, Skirts, Tops, Jackets, Shoes.

Exquisite is Key
I think it is always a good idea to keep it as elegant as possible when you decided to wear a floral dress. Appropriate accessories like shoes or handbags should be implemented with the floral dress in a more subtle way. Always make sure that at least one colour from the print matches with your accessory.

Wear Neutral Colours
If you decide to wear a floral pant or trousers, (which is a look that I always love) make sure the rest of the outfit is simple. The best way to achieve this look is to pair your floral pants with a solid or nude coloured top or shirt.
Pair your floral dress or a floral pant with a nice pair of beige or white coloured shoes. Neutral colours like white; beige or browns go well with all floral prints.

Wear A Trench
A trench can be worn with your floral dress and that defines the chic look. If you have a thin waist, complete the look by accessorizing with a small belt, which will help complement your frame perfectly.

Solid Coloured Bag
When applying this trend, make sure you are adhering to the
Make sure that it doesn’t clash with your dress or your jacket. You can also opt for sling bags, totes or clutches to complement your floral dress, pants or blazer. But follow the golden rule.

The Floral Shoes
Flowers come in various shapes and colours. So, whatever your style is, you need to have at least one pair of floral shoes in your closet; to show off that girly glamour.

The Floral Handbag
Complete your look and be striking with a floral bag.

Stay Adorable.
Adora x
